• Reduced friction and wear
• Increases engine life
• Reduces heat transfer
• Increased performance
• Minor repairs
• Starts easier
• Less fuel consumption
• The oil lasts longer
QMI engine treatment is not an oil additive but a metal treatment. It does not change the properties of the oil. QMI motor treatment imposes a micro-thin coating of PTFE on the metal. This plastic coating has a number of advantages. Friction and wear are dramatically reduced, while power, torque and service life increase. The QMI engine treatment has the ASTM approved test Sequence IIIE, which is recognized worldwide and is approved by the engine manufacturers. This test shows a reduction in wear of as much as 88% compared to the reference oil.

I started processing my Mercedes Actros 1844 2005 model with QMI at the end of 2008.
Less fuel consumption.
I think the effect of the QMI treatment began to show after about 40,000 kilometers driven. Diesel consumption fell from 4.57 liters per mile in 2008 and down to 4.18 liters per mile in 2009. That is almost 10%. Since I drive about 120,000 km a year, the saving is 4,680 ltr. times NOK 7.78 per liter that I paid in 2009. Ie NOK 36,410 or about NOK 3,000 per month. And since the price of QMI Engine Treatment and fully synthetic oil is not great, this will be pure net. I drive about 80,000 – 90,000 km on the oil change, but refill a liter of QMI Engine treatment after about 45,000 km. Otherwise I do not refill any other engine oil.
The engine pulls better.
The engine also gets a quieter and cleaner run that can be clearly heard. I drive up Lierbakken almost daily on the way to Oslo and have noticed that the car also pulls better. Previously I kept a speed of about 60 km / h with full load today I am at about 65 km / h. I am also in half gear right now than before and with lower speeds. I can safely recommend everyone to drive with QMI Motor treatment in their cars, at least I will not drive without.
With best regards

On the M / V Frihav belonging to Kopervik Shipping AS, engine washing was carried out in the summer of 1998, as well as engine treatment with QMI. The engine, a Noahb F26R 1320 Hp at 825 rpm had a lubricating oil consumption of about 35 liters per day. during, after 2-3 months the boat had a consumption of approx. 27 liters pr. day and night. During this period, it must be said that one piston and piston liner have been replaced. Some of the reduction in lubricating oil consumption can probably be attributed to this, but we are convinced that the QMI treatment had its savings. Fuel consumption was reduced by approx. 10 liters per hour. The boat was during our operation until mid-December, so we have no further experience regarding. lubricating oil consumption than these 6 months.
Oil consumption reduced by approx. 23% Fuel consumption reduced by approx. 5%
